This past weekend's festivities at Hill Country were terrific. ...Jack and all his team, family, volunteers and paid professionals did a fantastic job. The transformation of the place was unreal. Great people, targets, facilities, food trophies competition and camaraderie. Dave Peckham's targets were definitely challenging and made you work hard for a good score. Congratulations to all who helped make it a great time for the largest state shoot in NSCA history. [Nadim Nasir]

Jack,
My compliments to your great organization and hard work in making this a smooth and enjoyable event. I believe everyone enjoyed every event and the targets...
 [Leighton Stallones]

Great job, Hill Country! We had so much fun. The targets set by Mr. Peckham on the main and Mr. Schultz on the prelim were fabuloso! Best set I've ever seen at a major event. All the targets were so VISIBLE for these old eyes and very entertaining.  Your terrain is second to none. Reminded me of Polson at the Open a few years back. Beautiful place... [LG ]

It was just a really enjoyable weekend. From all outward appearances, the shoot ran as smoothly as it possibly could. I realize that luck plays some part in that, but not nearly as big a part as plain hard work/preparation. Jack, Rose and all the staff and workers at Hill Country this weekend deserve a great big "WELL DONE!". The targets were very challenging and fun at the same time... All did a great job of challenging us with the great terrain they had to work with.  All in all, I'd give it BOTH thumbs up! [Mike Tredway]

TX State trophies

Sat. dinner was axis deer, goat, & chicken. Still hungry? Lots of dessert...

Graham Hamilton was inducted into the TX Sporting Clays Assoc. Hall of Fame. Mary Ellen Hamilton is receiving the award for Graham whom we all miss.

Jack awarded Dave Peckham a Texas sized hat.

It fit him perfectly.

That's it, it's official. He's been Texanized.

OK, Lois....you deserve a break
